Welcome to my website. It shows a sampling of gift items that I craft from a variety of glass materials. Wherever possible, I work with recovered (recycled) glass items such as wine and beverage bottles, window panes, kitchen cannisters, stained glass and water goblets. But I also use commercial art glass as well, due to the variety of colors, hues and shapes available. I do all the glass fusing, slumping and torchwork in my home studio. Joy and Mystery There is a joy and mystery that comes with working with glass. There is a satisfaction in making glass art objects, utilizing the many vibrant colors available in commercial art glass....., But the greatest joy comes from taking a piece of dull, discarded, recovered/recycled glass and transforming it into an object of brilliance and beauty. Recovered glass pieces have a richer texture and character about them.... and a history as well.
